Goose Hunting

TexHunts Outfitters is based in Dalhart, Texas, just 80 miles north of Amarillo in the heart of the Central Flyway. The Playa Lake Region of the Texas Panhandle is home to over 300,000 wintering waterfowl. This area hosts the second largest number of migrating waterfowl in North America.  Canada geese are abundant, as well as the larger Canada subspecies. Ample numbers of lesser Snows and Ross’ geese make their appearance later in the season. The High Plains, known as the heartland of waterfowl country, will offer the hunting enthusiast a morning of unequaled pleasure.
